Starting a Business without a plan; a plan to fail
Planning is an important step in the process of starting and
running any business. Many businesses fail within three years of starting out mainly because they fail to plan. Planning is the act of preparation, forecasting, scheduling for an event before it takes place so it can run smoothly.
Planning could be in the form of a business plan whether it is a detailed business plan or even a one page business plan.
Also we have goals. Goals are the dreams, aspirations and visions of a business owner broken down into manageable tasks that need to be achieved for the bigger success picture of the business as well as the owner.
Planning helps to give a sense of direction to your business. With a plan in place there is a sense of purpose to your business. Without a business plan you just run the business one day at a time with no actual sense of direction.
A plan is a road map / blue prints for your business; use it. No one starts a journey without a proper plan so why would you run your business without one?
With a plan in place you are able to see the trend of your business. Periodically these plans can be reviewed and required changes made to them. With a plan in place you are able to review your business progress.
Without a plan your business will not be able to achieve any goal because you really don’t have any goal to achieve.
Remember without a plan your new business is bound to fail.
Take some time out and plan your business.

MY VISION BOARD
It is 10.45pm and I have just finished working on my vision board after months of procrastinating. To say I am thrilled and overwhelmed with emotions is an understatement. When you see the future that you so desire to have right in front of you in words or pictures, it is just thrilling…at least for me.
I realised while working on my vision board that what I finally had on my board was different from what I set out to depict. When you start working on your board just go with the flow from the cut out of the pictures and the arrangement on the board.
When I started with my board I thought it would be more of pictures but, while working on the magazine cut out, the right words just kept showing up on the pages of the magazines. The words where just the right representation of what I wanted in my life. My board has a name that I really love. It is called; Happiness is…. This I have placed at the middle of board. All around the title are the other things I want in my life. It is really lovely; this is just phase one I still have some things to add to the board. The board is on my wardrobe door and every now and then I just take a look and take it in.
I encourage everyone to get a vision board – you will definitely be amazed at what will come out of it. Your true authentic self will speak out.
Hang it where you will see it daily as a reminder of what you want in your life.
As for me, my vision board and goals (Business & Personal) are staring at me daily from my wardrobe doors.
Visualize what you want to achieve in life put it on a board, pray about it and do the work required for a manifestation of the best life.
Enjoy.
