Passion and Purpose
These two words have become my favourite for some weeks now and, it has taken me through a road of discovery of all the elements there is to these two wonderful words.
In the words of John Maxwell – ‘Passion is the energizer’ it takes you through the journey of discovering your purpose. Passion takes you to your purpose.
My question to you at this time is; what are your passions, what are those values that you will live or die for? The answers you provide to these questions will help to shape your personality that come to bear in whatever business you decide to start or you are already in.
Before you go into starting your business you need to be absolutely clear on what your passion and purpose is. When you have clarity it becomes easy to start up and share with others.
What is your personal mission statement, what do you want to achieve with this business you want to start? You need to know from the onset. Most people go into business just for the money. My question is what will you do when money doesn’t show up immediately, are you going to quit?
When your purpose is clear, authenticity and credibility will come naturally in your business because, your business will be a reflection of what you do best naturally. Your purpose reflects your skills, talents and gifts.

When you discover your purpose the next thing to do is take action. The action you take will show your level of commitment to the success of your business.
Before you start that business, I want you to go on a passion and purpose quest. Discover who you are meant to be and what you where born to do.
This week I want you to make a commitment to know your passion and purpose if you don’t know this already.
Get a book and write down the values you cherish most.
