Why did you go into business: After my second child I got tired of the office grind I decided to start my own business.

What is the nature of your Business: Travels & Tours; My love for travelling and discovering new places coupled with my passion for traveling and tourism informed my decision to go into the travels business.

Before your business what were you doing: I was working as a Personal Assistant to the special range MD of Bhs in England. I was at that position for 6years. I did this before relocating to Nigeria from the United Kingdom.

How did you fund your business at startup: I used my personal savings

Work life Balance: My kids are grown now and so I am able to juggle the business and family well without much strain. I usually compensate for lost time with good vacation together.

How do you get your clients: Mostly by referrals and we also advertise through facebook.

Advice for anyone that wants to start a business: Be optimistic and don’t be in a rush to make millions. Every new business needs at least 2 years to start making profit so you need to create the awareness and prove yourself.

Be honest.

Be passionate about what you do because when the cash is not forth coming as you envisaged you might want to give up.
